Coffee Wine

Sixteen-year-old home-made coffee wine, the last bottle. Clear as a bell, colour of straw. Tastes like a fine dry sherry. Posted by Picasa

Blimey - coffee wine is a new one on me. How do you make it?

The recipe was from C.J.J.Berry's "First Steps in Winemaking", the only home winemaking book you'll ever need.

I remember your sweet tea wine with raisins (?) with much happiness. Made in a huge plastic tub, and drunk by the mugfull while sat on the floor playing Trivial Pursuits with family & friends. I have no knowledge or experience of wine making. Would your tea wine be beyond my ability?

Tea wine is easy. If you can make tea, you can make tea wine. I'll probably post the recipe one of these days.
