It was made with onions, garlic, turnips, potatoes, carrots and peas from the garden, plus red lentils and spices. We had it with home-made bread - which is so much better than the industrial gloop that comes out of most shops these days. Sorry - pet hobby horse on my blog!<BR/><BR/>But if dinner was good, supper was even better - apple turnovers made with home-made puff pastry and home-made filling.
