This image (via the downsizer.net forums) struck me greatly because I saw one of Monet's paintings of the bridge at Giverny at the Musee D'Orsay and it made me cry. I've never before seen a painting that had that effect on me.This version is by Banksy, a guerrilla artist whose work I have admired for some time.
Banksy's version of Monet's painting also makes me want to cry.

Sadly I've never seen the original, (a;though my Sis and I have promised one another that we will sometime) so it hasn't yet reduced me to tears, but I saw the Banksy one a few days ago, and it made me feel very sad, too.
